Who we are
Real Retail Trading ("we", "us") provides educational research and market data for retail traders: a dashboard of futures positioning and options key levels, plus a newsletter. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you join the list. The form on our pricing card asks for your first name and email address. We store them in our database, together with the date you signed up and which form you used.
Abuse prevention. With each sign-up we also store a hashed version of your IP address (a one-way HMAC code, so we don't keep the address itself) and your browser's user agent (the short text your browser sends to describe itself, such as browser and operating system). We use these only to spot and block spam and automated sign-ups.
Members-area accounts. If we give you an account, we store your name, your email address and your password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash; we can't see them.
We don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive information such as financial account details.
How we use it
- To email you when memberships open, so you can decide whether to subscribe.
- To send you updates and our newsletter.
- To run your account and send you account emails, such as password resets.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie that protects forms from being submitted by other websites. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't load third-party trackers. Our fonts are served from our own server.
Who else handles your data
- Email delivery. We send emails through Resend, an email delivery provider. Resend receives your email address and the content of the emails we send you, only so it can deliver them.
- Hosting. The site and its database run on our own server.
- Payments. We are not taking payments yet. When we do, payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider and all fees are non-refundable. We will update this policy to name that provider before we take any payment.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Unsubscribing
Every newsletter and update email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and we stop sending them to you. You can also email [email protected] and we'll do it for you. Account emails, such as password resets, are sent only when you ask for them.
How long we keep it
We keep your sign-up details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and account details until your account is deleted. You can ask us to delete your information at any time. We may keep a minimal record that you unsubscribed so that we don't email you again by mistake.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you,
- correct it if it's wrong,
- delete it.
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We'll reply as soon as we can, and in any case within 30 days.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and hashed IP addresses. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Real Retail Trading is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from people under 18. If you think someone under 18 has signed up, email us and we'll delete their details.
Payments are non-refundable
We are not taking payments yet. When memberships open, subscription fees will be billed through a third-party payment provider, and all payments and subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial months. See our Terms of service for details.

Our research, data and emails are not financial advice. Nothing on this site or in our emails is a recommendation or investment advice. Real Retail Trading provides educational research and market data only. Every trading decision is yours.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes, for example when we start taking payments. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and if a change is significant we'll tell subscribers by email.
